About PROSA Archive

PROSA Archive was founded by Zoe Millenia and Natasha Alessandra, Indonesian fashion designers who graduated from Parsons School of Design in New York City. The brand name PROSA embodies the designers’ appreciation for written words, as both designers loved reading and writing growing up. As stories and prose have become a source of comfort for the designers, PROSA Archive aims to create pieces that provide a sense of comfort for the wearer and help them feel at home in their own skin.

PROSA Archive stands by three core values: Longevity, Comfort and Flexibility. Longevity is encouraged by emulating timeless pieces instead of being driven by ephemeral trends. This is further supported by garment construction that promotes durability. Comfort is a key factor in influencing how long a garment stays in the wearer’s wardrobe. We consider comfort to be a multifaceted concept, going beyond how the garment feels physically. Psychologically, comfort denotes that the garments invite the wearer to experience positive feelings. We strive to evoke confidence and self-assurance through our work. To encourage wearers to extend their garments’ lifetimes in their wardrobe, PROSA Archive’s pieces have an element of flexibility. We create clothes that are meant to be worn in multiple ways – either they are designed to be a classic piece that is easily restyled in many ways, or it has adjustable features to change its form or function.

Through our core values, we aim to be considerate with our work, and to create pieces that will be cherished by their wearers for a long time.
